Mission: The Center for Wellness and Medical Professions (CWMP) at Boca Ciega High School, utilizing an educational Community of Culturally diverse yet focused individuals, will provide a comprehensive program of preparation for post-secondary education; career skills; and unique opportunities and experiences within the health-related professions. The program will promote a lifetime commitment to individual Wellness and disease prevention.
CWMP (Center for Wellness & Medical Professions) students have practical experiences to supplement classroom instruction and enhance their medical volunteers experiences. From basic first aid to, rehabilitation and the advanced prevention and care of injuries, CWMP students learn about the medical professions by doing.

Community Service Hours
Every CWMP student must earn 200 volunteer hours. 100 hours must be medically-related. The remaining hours may be earned in any other area of service. Hours must be documented and turned in to CWMP office each year for credit.
