Rehab Ice BathCWMP (Center for Wellness & Medical Professions) students have practical experiences to supplement classroom instruction and enhance their medical volunteers experiences. Tier 1 - Technical

Program Eligibility Criteria:

  • 2.0 GPA or higher
  • Stanines of 4 or higher in reading and math on the FCAT Norm-Referenced Test or a total battery stanine of 4 or higher on a comparable standardized norm-referenced achievement test.

Students successfully completing the curriculum will be qualified to apply for employment in careers such as:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Medical Receptionist
  • Patient Care Assistant
  • Pharmacy Aide
  • Home Health Aide
  • Veterinary Aide

Tier 2 - Professional/Licensed

Program Eligibility Criteria:

  • 2.5 GPA or higher
  • Stanines of 6 or higher in reading and math on the FCAT Norm-Referenced Test or a total battery stanine of 6 or higher on a comparable standardized norm-referenced achievement test.

Students successfully completing the curriculum will be qualified to enter postsecondary institutions for further training leading to professional/licensed employment such as:

  • Nurse
  • Dental Hygienist
  • Medical Lab Technician
  • Mortician
  • Physical Therapist
  • Athletic Trainer
  • Dietician
  • Veterinarian Technician
  • Paramedic
  • Community Health Educator

Tier 3 - Pre-Medical

Program Eligibility Criteria:

  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Stanines of 8 or higher in reading and math on the FCAT Norm-Referenced Test or a total battery stanine of 8 or higher on a comparable standardized norm-referenced achievement test.

Students successfully completing the curriculum will be qualified to apply to institutions of higher learning requiring postgraduate studies and leading to professions such as:

  • Medical Doctor
  • Pharmacist
  • Dentist
  • Veterinarian
  • Radiologist
  • Pediatrician
