Rehab Ice BathCWMP (Center for Wellness & Medical Professions) students have practical experiences to supplement classroom instruction and enhance their medical volunteers experiences. Where is the Orientation meeting being held?

  • The doors to the main auditorium will open up at 5:00 PM. The JROTC program will begin the program promptly at 5:30 PM

Is the Orientation meeting required?

  • It is not required, however, we will be covering important information

What are we going to be doing during the Orientation meeting?

  • Meeting faculty and staff members
  • Discussing program requirements (activities, dress code, electronics, portal)
  • Receiving a copy of your child’s schedule
  • Participating in a guided walking tour of the facility
  • Having the opportunity to have your child’s palm scanning completed (time permitting)
  • Being assigned a locker (time permitting)
  • Having an identification card made (time permitting)
  • Parent-Student Agreement form (CWMP)

My child wasn’t able to get an identification card made during the orientation. When can he/she get one?

  • On 8/17 and 8/18 between 09:00 and 11:00 AM
  • During the first week of school at lunch time

When can we get a copy of my child’s schedule?

  • Schedules will be distributed during the meeting
  • Students not in attendance can get a copy from their program clerk or on the first day of school

Can my child get a locker the night of orientation?

  • Our goal is to provide you as much information as possible. However, time permitting we will assign your child a locker.

What days have been designated Scrubs and Professional Dress days? (CWMP)

  • Scrubs days are every Tuesday
  • Professional Dress days are the last school Thursday of each month

  • Mr. Vigue will monitor the front drive circle between 6:30 – 7:05 AM
  • We recommend you drop-off your child before 6:40 to avoid being caught in traffic
  • Please drive slowly through the circle
  • Cars may only exit northbound

My child rides a bus. Who should I contact?

  • Transportation is mailing out bus cards
  • For additional information please contact Ms. Van Dora (893-2780 @ 2144)

Will you serve breakfast in the morning?

  • Yes, breakfast will be available from 6:30 – 7:05 AM

What should my child do if he/she feels sick while at school?

  • Inform their teacher immediately
  • Their teacher will send your child to the clinic (Portable 5)
  • The nurse will treat your child and contact you as soon as possible
  • Please make sure you clinic card information is up-to-date
  • The nurse will provide your child a permit to leave if they are going home

Can my child call me from their cell phone if he/she is not feeling well?

  • No. Cell phones must be kept off and out of sight during the school day
